"Schrijfster en kunstenaar." Dat zei ik al vanaf heel jonge leeftijd.

Door contact met de eigenaren van het dier dat ik teken, krijg ik zulke mooie verhalen te horen, wat het dier voor hun betekent of hoe het dier hun heeft geholpen.

En ook mooie verhalen over vriendschappen.

Vriendschap met het dier, maar ook vriendschappen die door het dier zijn ontstaan.

Ik wil ook laten zien dat dieren als geen ander in het nu leven. Ze maken zich geen zorgen over wat als....

Ze houden onvoorwaardelijk van je.

Of je nu chagrijnig thuis komt en lelijk tegen ze doet of juist heel aardig.

Ze accepteren je stemmingen.

Ze leven in het nu en laten je ervaren dat je niet zoveel nodig hebt.

De energie die ik lees in de ogen van de dieren die ik aan het portretteren ben, is zo waardevol!

Soms is een dier al overleden, en zijn er geen goede foto's van.

Dan is het haast niet te doen om daar een goed portret van te maken, maar met de verhalen erbij lijkt het alsof het vanzelf goed komt.

De verhalen gaan over kameraadschap, gezelschap, liefde en dat de dieren zo slim zijn, dat ze meer doorhebben dan jij en ik beseffen.

Die verhalen wil ik met je delen in de blogs.

I also want to show that animals live in the moment like no other. They don't worry about what if...

They love you unconditionally.

Whether you come home grumpy and mean to them or be very nice.

They accept your moods.

They live in the now and let you experience that you don't need so much.

The energy I read in the eyes of the animals I am portraying is so valuable!

Sometimes an animal has already died and there are no good photos of it.

Then it is almost impossible to make a good portrait of it, but with the stories included it seems as if everything will work out automatically.

The stories are about camaraderie, company, love and that the animals are so smart that they understand more than you and I realize.

I want to share those stories with you in the blogs.
